J. Donald Dishman, DC, M.Sc., DIBCN has 20 years of clinical experience in the field of electrodiagnostic medicine. He is a board-certified chiropractic neurologist and specializes in the clinical, educational, and research aspects of electrodiagnostics. Dr. Dishman was awarded a Master of Science degree in Neuroscience from Syracuse University.
His research has been extensively published in the scientific literature including the prestigious journals Spine, Electromyography and Clinical Neurophysiology, and the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics. In 2001, Dr. Dishman was awarded the “Scott Haldeman Award”, for the best original research paper at the World Federation of Chiropractic Congress in Paris, France. His research includes the areas of H-reflexes, F-responses, transcranial magnetic stimulation and the use of magnetic stimulation in the evaluation of late responses in radiculopathy.
He is a current a faculty member of Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida, New York Chiropractic College, Post-Graduate Division, Syracuse University’s Department of Bioengineering and Neurosciences, Institute for Sensory Research and also is the lead instructor for Neurodiagnostic Consultants.
Additionally, Dr. Dishman provides expert witness testimony and is a consultant to many insurance carriers and government agencies in the fight against insurance fraud.
